‘Koi Baat Chale’ is a romantic comedy that revolves around the protagonist ‘Kanhaiya Lal Bansi Prasad’. Bansi is a 35 year old unmarried drama teacher in a school.

Bansi seeks the services of a marriage bureau to help him find a suitable life partner. Searching for his soul mate, Bansi meets Supriya while entering the same marriage bureau. Greatly attracted to her, he describes her appearance to Pyare Lal, the owner of the bureau. When asked about his preferences, he mentions especially of the beautiful black mole on the left cheek right below the ear, similar to what he had remembers off Supriya’s face.

Pyare Lal introduces Bansi to many girls with a mole on their cheek, except Supriya. Bansi who has set his heart on marrying Supriya, rejects all candidates and finally decides to propose to her. The story of ‘Koi Baat Chale’ unfolds as we see how Bansi expresses his feelings to Supriya.

Ramji Bali
(N.S.D. 2001, Ustaad Bismillah Khan Award as Young Playwrite of Sangeet Natak Academy Yuva Puruskar) started his journey in theatre since 1993 in his very own city Faridabad (Haryana). From 1994 to 1996 he joined a 2 yrs course for Acting in Sri Ram Center of Performing Arts (New Delhi), alongside continued to actively participate and direct many plays like Bichchu, Proposal, Ek ladki Paanch Diwaane, Dulari Bai, Gadhe ki Baaraat, Inspector, Matdin Chand Par, Chatur Rohan, Muaavze etc. He joined 1997-98 in NSD Repertory Company   during 1998 - 2001 he joined the country’s prestigious and well known professional acting school National School of Drama (New Delhi) as an actor and completed his graduation from NSD in 2001. Ever since, he has been working as a freelance actor/director in the field of arts and performance. Ramji Bali has written many plays such as Naalanda, Koi Baat Chale, Mujhse Pehli Si Mohabbat, Mere Mehboob Na Maang, Ghulam Radharani Ke, Sarat Chandra - Ek Awaara Masiha, etc.
